MATTER

Keeping it clean

Byer's Peak provides contract medical device and instrumentation manufacturing services to the medical device, biotech, and instrumentation markets. MATTER is very pleased with what we have done for them in the e-marketing space. Their campaigns have provided a great vehicle for connecting them with their clients as well as for getting their name out in the forefront of their market space. We have been told that in addition to creating well designed pieces, we actually gave them ‘position clarity’ which has made their pitch process more targeted and confident. Yeah for providing extra value to our clients!

Little Rockers

For our second year standing, we are involved with Girls Rock Camp, Denver. They are a part of a growing group of non-profit camps that have cropped up all over the country. Their mantra is “because every girl should be confident in her own voice." The week-long summer day camp serves Colorado girls ages 8-18 – regardless of musical experience or economic background. During the week campers will receive instrument instruction, form a band, write an original song, participate in workshops designed to build self-esteem and encourage self-expression. MATTER is excited to be helping the girls with developing their band logos and producing tee-shirts for each of the ‘groups’. Rock on little girls…

Success!

A special thanks goes out to Ginger White at the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs and the Downtown Denver Partnership. With a little more than a week to go before the opening of PRESSED and submissions from all over the country of letterpressed works piling up at MATTER, we still had no confirmed space. Rick, the owner of MATTER, sent out a frantic late night email to Ginger explaining how space negotiations with several large real estate companies was getting way too complicated for the exhibit to be successful. Within 24 hours of Rick’s request for help, he was signing a lease with the Downtown Denver Partnership on a 2,000 sq. foot space on the second floor of The Denver Pavilions. The space will house the show, and many artists have also provided additional materials which will be for sale. MATTER felt compelled to honor this amazing craft, whose history is strongly rooted in the 1400s, and wanted to make this artistry accessible to the public. Come see how these modern day designers and artists make their presses sing.

Exhibition Dates: MAY 29th–JULY 4th
