Good to the last Drip

Saucy, a new restaurant, realized rather early on that they needed great branding to stand out in the highly competitive Denver baseball restaurant scene. We helped Saucy take a step back and aim high. Calling it like we see it we finessed their bbq grille concept with full-flavored body and style. Research and design happened at a fast pace to create a logo, menu, webpage, kid’s menu, interior and exterior signage that is as bold as they are.

We feel as great about the work as we do about their food; so next time you're downtown, stop by for a delicious meal at 22nd & Market.

Pictures That Tell a Great Story

After our 10th anniversary party we found ourselves reminiscing over the great clients and work that we have produced for over a decade. To commemorate all the projects at MATTER we have published a design portfolio documenting our work, people, and vision. This hardcover book lays out the vast body of projects that we have done (and of which we are quite proud).

Would you like to be part of Portfolio: Part II? If you are a future client and don’t know it yet, check out our website and schedule a meeting. Contact our advocate department to check out the book or schedule a sit-down.

Twice as much trouble (7/23, 8/7)

Based on the Japanese word for ‘chit chat,’ Pecha Kucha goes much deeper than the surface. Speakers talk about their ideas with only one catch: 20 slide images for 20 seconds each. The result is a high-speed fantastic night with presentations made from a number of collaborators, storytellers, and visionaries. We are proud that Rick is presenting again, we don't know what he'll do on his soapbox this time but it will be projected onto the exterior of the Denver Art Museum. Distorted and certainly not short on fun! Curious? You should follow PKDenver on Twitter...

Rick is honored to have been asked to speak at TEDx Boulder in August. This event includes world-class speakers covering the areas of design, sustainability, technology, and extremes. It's a closely guarded secret what's on Rick's mind...and he assures us that the talent aligned for this event is setting the bar very high.

So what is TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of locally organized events that bring people together to share the world changing TED experience. At a TEDx it's more likely to learn something new about people in your community who are noteworthy than people outside it.

Tickets will be on sale for the live event and Rick’s talk will also be broadcast on-line.
